Regrann from @capricious_fitness - I know a lot of women openly share about how pregnancy has changed their bodies and the struggle of learning to love and accept the body that has changed and grown and focusing on how it produced a miracle. I have been one of them. But I have also had to learn how to love my body even when it fails you and there is no baby. I’ve always loved my body pregnant, I feel powerful and I wear my stretch marks proudly because my body earned every single one of them. I know that looking at my 9 and almost 3 year old daughters. But what happens when your body grows and changes and you have to go through a labour and a postpartum journey with no baby in your arms? I’ve had to learn to forgive my body. I’ve had to learn to love it even when it is hard to. Our bodies do so much for us and I had to focus what could have easily been used as fuel to hate it and transfer it into being thankful that my body was able to heal, survive and somehow still move forward in this life. My body has done amazing things for me, it has endured great amounts of pain and suffering too. I choose to love my body everyday with all its scars, marks, cellulite, loose skin, and everything the world has deemed as less then perfect. I’ve also chosen to love my body even though 3 out of 5 pregnancies ended in loss. I choose to love my body because it’s the only one I will ever have and because even after everything it’s been through it is still strong, full of life and capable of amazing things. That is why I am so passionate about being an ambassador for @nonairbrushedme because our bodies go through so much and deserve all the love and respect we can give them. I hope all the other women who have struggled can find power in loving their bodies even through the hard times. #capricious #learningtolovemyselfagain
